Took my Vietnamese partner here for her birthday. The artwork on the walls is rather impressive. Setting and service is / was good and helpful. Food wait times quite reasonable. Mama's rolls were good and fairly authentic. Grilled pork sausage was a good attempt at authenticity but the dry meat let it down. Nice peanut sauce though. Chicken stir fried noodles similar to found in Hanoi were quite pleasant. Probably more of a low to mid 4 star rating all up, but overall pleasant experience and one of the closest Vietnamese I have had to the real deal in Australia.

Absolutely incredible dining experience at Hoi An in Terrigal! From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Every detail in the food was spot on, with bold, fresh flavors that truly stood out. The homemade sauces elevated each dish, adding a depth of flavor that you don’t often find. The cocktails were just as impressive—balanced, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the meal. Every bite felt like it was crafted with care, and you can tell they take real pride in what they serve. If you’re in Terrigal, this place is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!

We had a birthday dinner for 4 adults and 2 children. The food and service was truly amazing. We had the seafood spring rolls which were excellent. The Vietnamese pancake and chicken wings were yummy. We absolutely loved the pho and green chicken curry. The kids 5 and 3 loved it. The mocktails and beers were cold and served up well. Very very highly recommended.

Hoi An Terrigal is a great local spot worth checking out. We decided to try their Easter Specials, which are available until April 27th. We started our dinner with the Mama’s Rolls. I love a spring roll; these were everything a good one should be—crispy, flavourful, and generously filled. The Pho Cuon (lemongrass beef wrapped in steamed rice paper) isn’t something I’d usually choose, but it was a standout - I was pleasantly surprised - fresh, light, and surprisingly moreish. The trio of baos were good — my pick was the pulled pork with coconut hoisin. For mains, we tried the Easter Specials. The sizzling steak was well-cooked and full of flavour, the shaking beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender with a nice garlic balance, and the crispy egg noodles with seafood were nicely done—plenty of texture and generous portion sizes. We also tried their deconstructed Bahn Mi, which we all devoured. It was really good and something I will order again. Drinks-wise, the Saigon Mojito and Hanoi Iced Tea were refreshing, but the Vietnamese Iced Coffee Martini was my clear winner. I’d go back just for that. In addition to the flavourful food, what stood out was the service. Friendly, thoughtful, and well-paced throughout the night. The staff were helpful without hovering, and everything felt genuinely welcoming. Overall, it was a really lovely meal in a relaxed setting with excellent service. A place I’ll return to.

Tried the pho tonight, at first it was just ok. But once you add the slow-cooked rib into the broth, it completely transforms. The flavour deepens, the soup turns rich and silky, and suddenly it’s amazing! Definitely worth ordering just for that combo

Went to celebrate my birthday with a few friends and to try the new Tasting Menu. Despite the restaurant being busy and fully booked out, the service was 5 Star. The food was absolutely delishes, and we couldn't finish it all. I received a birthday dessert from the staff there which was a beautiful surprise. Thank you to Jasmin, Zoe and the other staff for a fantastic evening.

NEW MENU ALERT 🚨 I usually come here for the pho noodle soup - hands down the best in the Central Coast (you can quote me on this). But today, 29/10/25, we tried the tasting menu and it was really good. Highlights: -Generous portion of salmon that was fresh and flavourful -Green curry that my white boyfriend genuinely loved (growth) -Sizzling hot plate of “Shaking Beef” that was tender, juicy, and borderline Kobe Beef -Whole Mango for dessert need I say more My Recommendation: Starter: Seafood Spring Roll Main: Shaking Beef + Green Curry Dessert: Mango on Rice Drink: Always get the Vietnamese Iced Coffee

Excellent food. Friendly staff. A good selection of vegetarian meals. Vegan pancake is recommended. Shaking beef and bamboo beef are delicious. The kitchen was very busy so wait time for food was about 45 mins. The staff were very apologetic and gave us complementary prawn crackers. We would come back.
